Teaching Internship
TEACHING PROGRAMME
Teaching InternshipWe arrange placements for students and qualified teachers at all levels and with all ages of children and young adults.

Certain conditions and restrictions always apply to any internship involving children and you should apply early to avoid disappointment.

KINDERGARTEN AND PRE-SCHOOL PLAYGROUP
Work with very young children from babies to aged four or five. This is superb experience for students in almost any educational field, or those wanting to work with small children generally.

Though previous experience is not essential, you must demonstrate a strong desire to work in this field. Basic English is required.

INFANT AND JUNIOR SCHOOL (ELEMENTARY)
Work with children aged from five to eleven. This is probably the most important stage of education and you will need to be a student teacher to apply. These placements do not involve simply watching experienced teachers, you will be preparing lessons and teaching classes yourself (under supervision of course).

Intermediate or Advanced English is required.

SECONDARY SCHOOL AND COLLEGE
To work in this educational sector, you will need to be a graduate, or be close to completing your degree. In exceptional circumstances, applicants with special skills may be considered. Intermediate or Advanced English is required.

You can choose to work with children aged 11 to 16 years, or young adults aged over 16 years. We can also provide a one week 'Teacher Training Introduction' course, which is designed to help overseas student teachers prepare for their internship.

Please contact us for further details, or to ask if a specific subject is possible.
